About Bright Fern Living
Food scraps and yard waste make up a large share of what goes in the trash. Composting turns them into rich soil instead. We write plain-English guides to composting at home, whatever space you have.
What we do
We publish composting guides, a greens and browns calculator, a what-to-compost guide, the Home Composting checklist and a free printable Home Composting Workbook. We send The Bright Fern Note to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing the Bright Fern Compost Log, a paid printable log.
What we don't do
- We don't sell bins, worms or supplies.
- We don't use affiliate links or sponsored posts.
- We don't recommend brands.
- We never sell or share your email address.
